4 EFFECTIVE WEIGHT LOSS DRINKS YOU CAN MAKE AT HOME




Yeah yeah we all want that perfect toned body right? I know people tell you all the time to love your body the way it is but the truth is that you made yourself fat or you let yourself get out of shape. So if it was your fault that you got big then you can love yourself enough to get back in shape.




I'm putting up this post because you all know it's always #TEAMNATURAL with me and when I did my GET FIT CHALLENGE, not everybody followed up and most people asked me if there was something else they could do other than the challenge; so here it is! Let's start the year by feeling good about ourselves and getting our confidence back.





The good thing about these homemade drinks is that it has no side affects plus you are able to monitor what is going into your mouth. Lemon is the key ingredient here as it plays a major role in weight loss and detox. Let's get started!




1. CUCUMBER/LEMON DRINK




Cucumbers are low-calorie foods loaded with dietary fibers and they help in flushing out toxins which helps in effective digestion. Last night, I ate late and I got a bloated stomach because the food couldn't digest before my sleep time. This is a perfect drink to ease digestion once you eat 3 hours earlier before your sleep time.





Cucumber helps in increasing metabolism rate that helps in burning the extra calories in your body and helps in getting that perfect shape therefore the combination of lemon water and cucumber juice will work wonders in your weight loss goals. This juice also helps in the removal of excess heat from your body to avoid the accumulation of belly fat.




PREPARATION




You need two/three glasses and a big pitcher of water. Extract the cucumber juice by mixing it with water in a mixer. Please careful when using the fruit mixers so you don't crush the cucumber seeds. Add this to your big pitcher of water. Then squeeze 2 lemons into the pitcher.Add two tablespoons of honey if you want.




DRINK IT TWICE A DAY BY STORING IT IN THE FRIDGE. THIS CAN ALSO SERVE AS AN ENERGY DRINK AFTER YOUR WORKOUTS.




2. LEMON/GINGER DRINK



The combined effects of these two will speed up the rate of metabolism which helps you in losing fat/losing weight gradually. Ginger has thermogenic effects which help in weight loss while lemon has high Vitamin C content which helps in flushing out toxins from our body and also helps to decrease the swelling effect near the abdominal area. So if you have a fat belly, this drink is for you and you will have that flat tummy if you follow it on a regular basis.



PREPARATION




Squeeze one or two lemon into a glass of water by extracting all the juice out of the lemon.(depending on how sour you like your lemon)Grate some ginger to it and stir. Please make sure you grate it into tiny pieces so you can drink it.Stir the mixture well to blend together.




DRINK EVERY DAY IN THE MORNING(ON AN EMPTY STOMACH) AS SOON AS YOU WAKE UP FROM BED, FOR BEST RESULTS. IF YOU WANT TO SPEED UP THE PROCESS OF LOSING WEIGHT, THEN CONSIDER DRINKING THIS JUICE TWICE A DAY.




3. LEMON/ALOE VERA



One of the reasons why you are not losing weight is increased blood sugar levels. Aloe Vera is a magic ingredient that helps in regulating the blood sugar levels and keeps you away from weight gain. It also has properties that can increase the rate of metabolism. If you are following strict workout schedules like me, then this will specially for you because it helps you in regaining the energy through which you can work out more. You will sweat more too which helps in healthy weight loss. The lemon juice helps to supplement the benefits of Aloe Vera juice.




PREPARATION




Cut the edges of some fresh aloe vera leaves and peel the outer part. Use a spoon to take the gel out of the leaves. Please note that you can still use the aloe vera gels they sell over the counter in medical shops.In a glass of water, add the aloe vera gel and squeeze in two lemons into it.You can add jaggery if you wish. Some believe it helps in weight loss.




DRINK THIS JUICE EVERY DAY FOLLOWED BY A REGULAR MEAL. DRINKING THIS FOR AT LEAST 4 TO 5 WEEKS WILL GIVE YOU VISIBLE RESULTS.




4. LEMON/MINT




Mint is known for its digestion properties. The flavor helps in activating the salivary glands which in turn aids in the production of appropriate digestive enzymes which speeds up the process of digestion. This will control weight gain as all the toxic substances are thrown out from the body. Lemon with its citric properties is a perfect element for weight loss and blending of these two will show you noticeable results within 2 to 3 months if followed on a regular basis.





PREPARATION




Squeeze fresh lemon juice in a big glass of lukewarm water. Get some fresh mint leaves, wash it and them to this mixture. You can cut them into tiny pieces if you want.Blend the ingredients well by stirring the mixture. You can add honey if you want to sweeten it.




DRINK THIS EVERYDAY IN THE MORNING BEFORE YOU EAT BREAKFAST AND AT NIGHT BEFORE GOING TO BED. IT WILL HELP YOU IN LOSING WEIGHT AND YOU WILL SEE RESULTS WITHIN ONE OR TWO WEEKS IF YOU ARE CONSISTENT.




So if you doing this, you have to be patient because you didn't gain weight overnight so don't expect to slim down overnight.Don't forget to eat less if you wanna see results.
