HOW I LOST 5KG IN LESS THAN TWO WEEKS

Question: is it possible to lose weight without going on a diet? Yes, it is! But the thing is that you have to pick a struggle if you really want to lose weight the safest way without depending on pills and tea.
I'm not gonna talk down on anyone's product but if you as a lady ain't done with childbirth, then you may need to cut down on those slimming pills and tea, and prepare your mind to lose weight the safest way. The last time I got on the scale before I started my fitness journey, I was 75kg. I checked back a week and five days after and I was 70kg; quite impressive, I think. Bored of my long story already? Let's get started on how I did it.
1. FIND OUT WHY YOU WANNA LOSE WEIGHT
For me, I took that final decision because I was tired of admiring people with the body I want, and more because I'm a crop top, shorts, and sneakers kind of girl but the greatest of it all is that I can wear anything I like with that fit body!
2. HAVE A PICTURE OF THE BODY YOU WANT SOMEWHERE YOU CAN SEE IT ALWAYS
Yeah, it worked for me. I saved up some pictures on my instagram because I usually check my saved posts, so each time I was there, I see those pictures and I get to work.
3. GET A BOOK, WRITE WHEN YOU STARTING AND WHEN YOU EXPECT TO SEE VISIBLE RESULTS!
You must have heard it a couple of times that a goal without a deadline is just a wish. Get a book and write down when you are starting your fitness or weight loss journey, and when you are expecting visible results. I gave myself two weeks, and I already said earlier that I lost 5kg a week and some days after.
4.GET A SMALLER PLATE
Now, you've known the three most important stuff to do before you begin your journey. It's time to talk about what you eat. Dieting can slim you down but are you prepared to diet for the rest of your life? Because that's the only way you won't add some weight again. Get a smaller plate, preferably blue in colour. Why blue? The colour blue makes you less hungry because it doesn't stimulate appetite! So you can actually have more blue colours around you. What you should be looking at is eating half a portion and that's why you need a smaller plate. I usually skip one meal, and that is dinner(please confirm from your doctor to know if you fit to skip any).
5. WARM WATER AND LEMON IN THE MORNINGS
This is like my daily ritual. There are many health benefits of warm water and lemon, and one of them is weight loss. Usually, I do this at 7 a.m. every morning, and then have breakfast two or three hours later. This can also be used as a detox.
6. MORE PROTEINS AND FRUITS ESPECIALLY CITRUS
Proteins help you gain muscle, and the more muscle you gain, the more fat you burn, so I actually ditched the carbs because they contain a lot of calories but I made out one day in a week to eat a healthy one because I need the energy. Please note that while eating fruits, you should eat banana less because it's a source of carb which means a lot of calories(I'll talk about it in my next post).
This is the part people hate the most, but I worked out everyday! except it's the day I'm not home(yeah, I do home workout, and didn't hit the gym). You can actually lose weight without workout if you stick to every other step here but workout helped me to slim and tone my arms because my focus was on slimming my arms, and building my butt(I was scared that I'll have a flat bum while I lose weight, but it didn't happen). It is important to know the part of your body you wanna lose fat in, and the parts you wanna grow, then do the workouts accordingly. You can check YouTube; Blogilates is my favorite workout trainer.
8. SLEEP THIRTY MINUTES EARLIER
As a writer, this wasn't too easy for me because I usually write at the wee hours of the night. Yo! I wrote this stuff at 1 a.m. when I should be sleeping, but that's when everywhere is serene(I made sure I didn't stay up late every night because it'll really slow my progress). Many people believe keeping awake makes them slim down; No honey, it actually makes your skin ugly! You burn calories while you sleep, so be sure not to eat three hours to your bedtime, and try to get at least eight hours of sleep. Sleeping thirty minutes earlier than your usual sleep time is a great advantage too.
9. COUNT YOUR CALORIES
If you really wanna lose some pounds, you need to burn more calories than you take in. Make sure you are aware of the number of calories you consume everyday, and be sure to burn more than that. If you don't know the number of calories on a particular food you wanna take, type in the food in google and check. The normal calorie intake per day is 1,200cal but I take not more than 500.
In summary guys, be sure to take your current weight and measurement before starting, and then record your results each week till you have gotten your dream body then start maintaining it. The key is to find what works for you, and stick to it so you don't go back to being fat. Get your favorite proteins and fill yourself up with them, so you don't feel like weight loss is too hard. If you like your body the way it is, awesome! I wanted a better body, and I started working hard for it, and I'm enjoying every bit of it. I know you have questions like "were you discouraged at any point?" No, I wasn't but I ate a lot of junk at a point! I worked out burned it all off anyway because I was aware of the number of calories I took in.
