6 WAYS TO BE A WOMAN WHO NEVER RUNS OUT OF MONEY

Hi everyone, I think this is a very important topic that’ll definitely benefit you. When it comes to money, I like to think of it as “no one’s friend”, because it disappears before you know but that’s only when you not disciplined enough. So this is the reason I decided to share this with you. I personally hate staying without money so I hope you find these tips helpful

1. COOK YOUR OWN FOOD

Some people say “life is short, therefore enjoy it” so they tend to spend all their money on food, but one thing I’ve realized each time I spend my money on food from restaurants, is that I can actually make food I can eat twice or thrice, with that money. Don’t get me wrong; when I’m out, super hungry, and tired, I’ll definitely get some food from a restaurant! I’m just saying that if you’re used to ordering foods from restaurants everyday, then you might need to sit down, and calculate how much you spend in a month on those foods. Tell me what you got! Winks

2. DON’T RUSH TO BUY

In my previous article on 10 WAYS TO BE DEBT-FREE, I did explain how I used to be a shopaholic. I mean I could literally spend all my money on cute stuff, especially shoes. But what did that leave me with? Tons of shoes I haven’t worn, and will probably never wear. So here’s the drill, if you have the urge to buy something, give yourself two weeks and see how much you survived without it. If you did just fine, then you don’t need it.

3. SAVE AND INVEST

I can tell you I’m a good saver, but I suck at investing—that I’m working on. Well if you don’t ever want to run out of money, be sure you to always save—especially for emergency sake.

4. BE IN CONTROL OF YOUR MONEY

So each time I go to the market, or shopping, and come back, I always sit down and calculate how I spent my money, what I spent it on, and how much I have left. This helps me know or be sure that I stuck to my budget. One thing I’m also fighting to have control over, is buying something I never budgeted to buy, and so far I’m doing great.

5. FULFILLMENT

Tbh, you’ll be happier knowing that you have as little as 10k in your account, than when you have nothing in there. So while sitting down to create a budget may not be fun, it’ll definitely help you in the long run.

6. HAVE SAVINGS FOR FUN

When you see the WEALTHY go on vacations, and do all those fun stuff, just know that they have already saved and budgeted for it. So instead of sulking, why not plan, budget, and save for where you wann’ go to or what you wann’ do? Don’t use all your money to go on vacay or do fun stuff, then be left broke. Save up for what you want to do. It doesn’t matter how long it takes you. There’s no award nor certificate in life for the first person to get to a place.

In Igbo we say, ebe onye óso ru, onye ije ga-eru ya. Meaning same place you ran to, or flew to, someone who’s trekking will still get there. Remember: Slow and steady wins the race! Love you!

So guys, here are six ways to be a woman who never runs out of money. Do try them out, and let me know if they were helpful.. xx
